Testimonials
“Katelyn’s hot yoga workshop was such a wonderful experience. Her guidance, energy, and thoughtful approach made each class something I genuinely looked forward to. I left feeling challenged, grounded, and excited to keep practicing with her!”
“I loved Katelyn’s hot yoga workshop! Each class was thoughtfully structured, building naturally on the one before it. After just a few classes, I was able to get into a chin stand—a pose I had never been able to do before! It was such a rewarding experience, and I’m excited to continue practicing with Katelyn.”
“Katelyn led a very simple yet impactful yin practice, making sure to provide options for modification along the way. She gently assisted in poses as per a participant's wishes and abilities. her play list was a solid 10 but the sound bath was even better. I left feeling peaceful, rejuvenated and looking forward to another session.”

What is a challenge in your own yoga practice?
I over analyze my teaching voice. Timbre, volume, clarity of cues and tone is so important to me. I grew up singing and listening to all types of voices & instruments to create harmony. I aim to bring pleasure to practitioners through my voice and music choices. I’m still figuring out what works & what doesn’t.
What is something you’ve learned about yourself from teaching yoga?
I’ve never regretted stepping on my mat to teach. Even when the kids are demanding, my body aches, and my mind is doing backflips, I love watching each practitioner come through that door. Each person who practices is there for a very different reason then the one next to them. But yoga is universal. Hearing everyone breathe together, watching the variations in how people move, rest, play with postures and go inwards is a very special experience.
What about teaching lights you up the most?
Seeing students try something new and making progress each week. Watching them get out of their heads and into their hearts. Witnessing them silence the inner critic and going for the postures and deeper meditation that they never thought possible.
