Movement is medicine.
Breathwork is medicine.
Mindfulness is medicine.
“I hope my classes will help you feel refreshed and rejuvenated, calm and centered, and that you leave class with an open heart and settled mind.”

What is a challenge in your own yoga practice?
Being a working, stay-at-home mom to a toddler makes it hard to keep a consistent practice. I try to make sure that I practice some kind of movement as I go about my day and at least 10-15 minutes of stretching before bed. I also squeeze in listening to educational/spiritual podcasts when I’m driving alone or in the shower.
What is something you’ve learned about yourself from teaching yoga?
I’ve learned that I can push through fears and uncomfortability by using my breath, remaining calm, and believing in myself.
What about teaching lights you up the most?
I love putting together a class that flows with the music and feels good — then getting the opportunity to share it with others and connect through movement and energy brings me so much joy. Being able to improve someone’s mental, physical state and hopefully make their day a little better by offering a safe space to just be is such an honor.
